Meet our Trainers

Gillian McInerney

Gillian McInerney (she/they) hails from Dublin (the Northside) and is a graduate of DCU. She is currently a staff member with TU Dublin SU where they provide advice signposting and pool cues to the students of Grangegorman campus. This is Gillians 12th year speaking at Pink Training. Gillian is passionate about group facilitation, sexual health, and Pokémon GO. 

Robbie Lawlor

Dr. Robbie Lawlor is a prominent HIV activist in Ireland and actively contributes to several international health organisations. He is a member of both the European AIDS Treatment Group and the UNITAID communities’ delegation. As a co-founder of Access to Medicines Ireland and a co-host on the award-winning PozVibe Podcast, Robbie is deeply involved in pivotal discussions and policy campaigns aimed at enhancing health equity for people living with HIV. He has a master’s degree in Sexuality Studies and has earned his PhD from Dublin City University, where his qualitative research focused on HIV treatment activism in Ukraine.

Ollie Bell

Ollie is a non-binary socialist feminist and trans activist. They are the founder and co-organiser of Trans & Intersex Pride Dublin. They’ve been a member of ROSA – Socialist Feminist Movement since 2017 and was heavily involved in the Repeal the 8th campaign. Alongside their activism for trans liberation, they also campaign on issues such as gender based violence, LGBTQI+ inclusive education and solidarity with Palestine.

James McGoldrick (On behalf of The Rainbow Project)

My name is James McGoldrick, pronouns are he/they (sé/said) and my role in The Rainbow Project is Training Coordinator. I oversee all of our training programs and deliveries covered across Northern Ireland on various topics in regard to LGBTQIA+ identities, issues, awareness and culture. I bring my passions of authentic queer history and intersectional critical thinking to the learning content I design to bring LGBTQIA+ Awareness unlike traditionally delivered. I have a background in The Rainbow Project with our Health & Wellbeing services and outside The Rainbow Project have a background in leadership as well as in my local community as social awareness educator as a queer & neurodiverse person with global intersectional allyship.

Thomas Heising

In 2021, Thomas Heising completed a study with Cork’s Gay Project called Crossroads seeking to shed light on lived experiences of queer people of colour in Cork. Today, Thomas works with visual science communication, local natural heritage and has been volunteering with Cork’s local gay community for years while shifting into other communities as well.

Neev Kennedy

Neev Kennedy is a dyke based in Cork city. Neev has held positions for three years in both TUS Students’ Union Limerick and in Aontas na Mac Léinn in Éirinn (AMLÉ), as the Vice President for Equality and Citizenship, proudly advocating and representing students from diverse backgrounds across Ireland. They have been successfully organising events in Limerick and Cork city for 8+ years for the queer community, from high-energy, DIY events that defy Ireland’s limited nightlife hours to events catered to local community development. Neev cofounded Limerick Dyke Nite in 2022 alongside Aoife O’Toole. Neev graduated from LSAD with a BA in Print Contemporary Practice in 2022 with a practice that centers around lesbian sexuality, experience and love. Neev continues to advise and teach Students’ Unions across Ireland on event safety, conflict management and EDI policies.

Tom Forde

I’m Tom, I’m 23, and I’m a masters student in Politics & Data science! Part of the reason I studied politics was my interest in equality. I am passionate about intersectionality and community building. I’m a former CMLONG officer and a practicing bisexual.

Faye Ní Dhomhnaill

I’m Faye Ní Dhomhnaill (she/her) and I’m AMLÉ’s Vice President for Campaigns. Previously I have served as Uachtarán and Leasuachtarán don Ghaeilge of CMLONG, so I have seen my fair share of Pink Trainings. My degree is in Law, English, and Performing Arts Studies and much of my undergraduate work focused on the harm of misogyny for all people within our communities and the role of women in propaganda. I’m a loud and proud bisexual, and look forward to delivering mine and Tom’s session! In my free time you’ll find me crocheting and making homemade butter.

Chloe Anderson

I’m Chloe Anderson (they/them) and I’m AMLÉ’s Vice President for Equality and Citizenship and a freelance nonbinary barista. I have a background of community engagement to and human rights, spending a lot of my focus and thinking time about anti-misogyny. I try to ingrain it across every area of my life, from being a lesbian in the queer community to climate activism to the work I do in AMLÉ.

Sinéad Ruane

Sinead (she/her) is a queer woman from Galway City who has been learning about and growing into her identity since coming out at fifteen. She first got involved in LGBTQ+ student life when she joined GIGSOC (now BródSoc) in 2015 as NMLO and attending her first Pink Training that same year.

She went on to serve as Auditor of GIGSOC from 2016–18, during which the society was nominated for a GALA Award and won Most Successful Society at the student awards. She was also involved with DanceSoc, helping to host two intervarsity events in 2016 & 2020.

Since then, Sinead has stayed connected to community organising. She joined Galway Community Pride in 2024 as Fundraising Officer and is now the Chairperson for 2026. She’s grateful for the chance to return to Pink Training ten years after attending her first one, and looks forward to sharing her experiences and learning from everyone attending.

Sarah Hughes

Sarah Hughes is the AMLÉ Mental Health Programme Manager since 2019. She will be running the Mental Health Room for the duration of Pink Training. The Mental Health Room is a quiet space where you can take some down time away from the bustle of Pink Training, or a place that you can go to speak to Sarah if you’re feeling any distress or if things are feeling like they’re a bit too much. There will be some activities in the room to help you destress.
Sarah will also be the safeguarding officer and will be reachable by phone at any point during Pink Training.

Caoimhghín Ó hEodhasa / Kevin Hussey

Kevin Hussey is an actor and Irish-language consultant, has starred in such shows as TG4’s mockumentary “An Poitín”, An Taibhdhearc’s trailblazing “Wáltsáil Abhaile” and even taught Conan O’Brien his Irish for “Ros na Rún”! Based in Galway, Kevin is Aerach Aiteach Gaelach’s ‘Timire an Iarthair’, or Connaught Representative, and is part of that organisation’s ‘Meitheal Téarmaíochta’ or Terminology Force, which seeks to proactively document, or design, words and terms for the queer Irish-speaking community.

Emma Loo on behalf of Na Gaeil Aeracha

Emma Loo is a dedicated member of Na Gaeil Aeracha (NGA) GAA Club, where she played a pivotal role as one of its original co-founders and served as Vice-Chairperson during the club’s inaugural year in 2020. Emma has been central to shaping the club’s vision as a safe, empowering, and proudly inclusive space for LGBTQ+ athletes and allies within Gaelic Games. She has represented NGA on Ireland AM, using national media platforms to advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport and to promote the importance of safe, affirming spaces within the sporting industry. She has also worked with the Dublin County Board and contributed to shaping progressive LGFA initiatives, particularly those supporting and protecting transgender players. Emma is a proud defender on the Women’s+ Football team and welcomes new players of all abilities.

Aoife Murray

Aoife is a kink & BDSM educator. You may have attended a relationship and sex ed workshop with her at your Student Union. She focuses on helping people make risk informed choices in their intimate lives, whatever their desires. She’s a quoted Intimacy expert by Glamour, Mashable, and IrelandAM. She featured in France 24’s Changemaker series and was shortlisted for Sexual Influencer of the Year by Sexual Health:24

Tino Wekare of the Haus of Schiaparelli

Tinomuda is an independent cultural producer, curator, and socially engaged artist specialising in community engagement and fostering inclusive spaces. With a deep commitment to grassroots initiatives, they focus on using art as a powerful tool for social change. Tinomuda co-founded the Black Queer Book Club, one of Ireland’s few dedicated spaces for Irish Black queer individuals, and established The Haus of Schiaparelli, a kiki house promoting Black Irish Ballroom culture. Their work is centered on building joyful, radical spaces for marginalized communities, particularly Black queer people in Ireland. With extensive experience in socially engaged practices, Tinomuda’s contributions to community dialogue and movement-building are invaluable. In June 2024, they were invited to participate in Create’s ‘Summer School,’ hosted by the National Development Agency for Collaborative Arts, where they explored democracy and misinformation through collaborative practice, further demonstrating their expertise in socially engaged art. They were a recipient of the Arts and Disability Connect Award (Round 2, 2024), which supported the Lovers Ball (2025), an audience participative installation centering Migrant QPOC experiences in the celebration of Marriage Equality. They have also been selected for the Creative Access Production Programme (2025), hosted by Disrupt Disability Arts Festival. You also might have caught them as a judge for the inaugral Dublin Booters Butch Bar performative masc lesbian experience looking for a studsband/eligible butchler (22 November 2025)

Ryan Goulding

Mx Ryan Biskupovic Goulding (Any/All) is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at University College Cork. Ryan’s PhD explores the healthcare experiences of trans and gender diverse young people in Ireland, using creative and participatory approaches to understand how young people make sense of their care.

They are the Primary Health Field Representative for the Professional Association for Trans Health Ireland (PATHI) and Chair of the Transgender Research Alliance Network for Staff and Students (TRANSS) at UCC. They are also a committee member with the national grass roots trans led organisation Trans Healthcare Action. Ryan has led research exploring the meaning and application of lived experience within mental health settings, and more recently conducted a national Scoping Review examining the healthcare experiences of LGBTQIA+ autistic people.

Their work centres on equity, inclusion, and the integration of lived experience into healthcare education, policy, and practice to support affirming, person-centred care for trans and gender diverse communities.

Blezzing Dada

Blezzing Dada (she/they), from Dublin, Ireland, is a multiple award-winning Black-Irish mental health activist, speaker & blogger who’s an outspoken passionate on various social justice issues, especially on a focus of intersectionality within the mental health spaces, shaped by liberatory care, transformative justice, harm reduction & anti-capitalist frameworks.

Accompanied with her own lived experiences with all things, being multiple disabled (chronically ill & neurodivergent) and mad, they shed perspectives, uncommonly heard for Black & other ethnic minority + further marginalised communities in Ireland.

Being involved with numerous community groups, she can be found participating in mutual aid work, podcasts & writing to spread awareness: through empathy and education
